Driver damage

Hello Everyone,

I have a question about this CS250 my friend gave to me. It crackles a little especially during dialogue. I want to replace the broken part. It's probably the driver right? and how can i test to see which of the three drivers it is? It has two midrange and one tweeter.

Disconnect 1 driver at a time and see how it sounds. Try to move each cone with VERY gentle fingertip pressure and see if you feel any resistance.

Sorry, Polkman I haven't posted a result yet because I haven't tried anything yet. The reason I posted anything at all was simply to be sure of what I was doing before I broke something. Anyway I figured out which driver is broken and now I just wanted to thank Frank Z for helping me out. I didn't want to disconnect anything without some advice first. Thanks.
