I was wondering if anyone knows how to do repairs to amps?
I have a Paradigm PS1200 that has an amp that will not turn on,after removing the amp i found 2 burned resitors and was wondering if there is anyone out there that knows how to repair or should i try to get a replacement amp?

You could probably get the resistors replaced for cheap. I had some resistors go bad on a sub before and it cost my around $30 to get fixed.

Just find a repair shop in your area with a good reputation, it would probably be cheaper than shipping both ways.

Call Paradigm and find the authorized repair shop in your area. That will be your best bet.

Replacing just those resistors probably won't help. Multiple resistors don't just fail for no reason - there could be an active component (i.e. power transistor) that failed and took the resistors with it.
