I just bought a Yamaha AX 570 amp at the flea market today. It is in great conditon for 75.00. Does anyone have one of these amps. Any opinions on these amps. It looks like it is 100 watts for the A set of speakers and 100 watts for the B set. It looks also from what I can get off the internet that it can only handle 8 ohms and 6 ohms speakers. It sure sounds good. Any info on the amp would be appreciated.

Do a google search. Lots of reviews and info on this amp. Seems to have some favorable reviews. For 75.00 good condition, I think you scored a nice deal.
Download a users guide here if you need it.

I have been listening to this amp for a few hours and I am pleasantly surprised at how good it sounds. If anyone gets a chance to pick one up fairly cheap, you got yourself a good deal. Sounds very good with newer speakers that are 8 ohms but I would not power my SDA's with this because it is only good up to 6 ohms. I will leave that task to my Luxman M-117 amp. Overall a nice affordable unit.

hi, i have had this amp for over 10 years and it still kicks ass when i turn up the volume to my bose 901's. No trouble what so ever! I love it and it was the best investment. I paid 400.00 dollars when purchased from soundtrack back in the 90's. I would hang onto it for 75.00 bucks. You stole that that amp for sure...for 75 bucks that is. Good luck and enjoy it because i have.
