The RD0194-1 is the SL2000 Tweeter

I enquire Polk the replacement for my bad Peerless tweeter. The lady Yarbor from Polk said "The RD0194-1 is the SL2000 Tweeter. We no longer have the Peerless Tweeters."

My local agent only have SL1000 instead of RDO194-1. The additional cost of shipping is $65 for each RD0194-1. Shit:mad:

RD0's rarely come up FS on ebay. To her since the RD0 pretty much replaces the sl2000 she probably just told you that to avoid confusion.

At one time the RD0194-1 (which is a stock number) was referred to as the sl2000T. The only place to get the RD0194-1 is Polk and if you are paring it with another speaker that uses the peerless or sl2000 they will not be timbre matched so it's bet to replace them all with the same model.

Then, it needs $96 for two RDO194-1 and $130 for an additional shipping cost. Too bad:( I may buy one SL1000 from the local agent and can't hear the smooth sonic of RDO191-1:(

Peerless and RDO's do not have the same dimensions, so you won't be able to interchange them without some additional work (not sure exactly what the differences are; all I know is they won't be a perfect fit).

Peerless tweeters always show up on ebay. I just got a spare pair for less than $25 shipped ;)
