Thank you for posting this... I have been a member of the Titanic Historical Society for a number of years and am saddened to hear of her passing. May she rest in peace.

Rose was fictional, as were nearly all of the main characters (and the storied necklace) of the Titanic movie.

The woman who died was only nine weeks old when the Titanic sank.

I didn't care for the movie. However, Ghosts of the Abyss I thought to be fascinating.

the only fictional characters in the film were Jack and Rose along with their immediate families, everyone else was actually there.
