Not scarry enough. Not funny or fun enough. No memorable characters or situations. Not horrific enough. Not suspenseful enough. What it had too much of was predictability to the point where it just wasn't enjoyable.
I think this PG-13 flick was intended for school kids out on summer vacation.
Avoid.

The trailer alone says avoid, no need to waste good money on actually seeing it.

What are you guys talking about? 93% on Rotten 'maters. Sam Raimi back to his Evil Dead origins. Everyone I know that has seen this says it might be the best horror movie of the last decade.
Really... I'm just curious. Anyone else want to chime in because I'll be running to the theater tomorrow to see this.

zombie- post your opinion on it. by your name, I'll assume you either like zombie movies or you like zombie music.
Personally, remake of Dawn of the Dead still holds the personal title for best horror movie.

"Zombieboy" was a nickname I picked up on the old punk rock circuit. It came about partially for my affinity for zombie flicks and partially for the fact that I looked like an 'effin zombie at 120lbs. We all ran with nicknames like that and it's crazy how many awesome friends I made whom I never even learned their real name.
Best horror movie has gotta be Night of the Living Dead. Texas Chainsaw Massacre comes a close second (the originals of course).

Saw this yesterday. In my personal opinion not a good movie at all.

I was entertained by the combo of a few scares mixed with some black humor. But this will not be everyone's cup of tea.

Finally got around to seeing this movie on Saturday. I fell so much in love with the flick that I promptly returned the next day for an encore. As mentioned above, this will not be for everyone. I don't know why they're marketing it as a Stir of Echoes type horror movie, because anyone expecting something along those lines will be left scratching their heads.
Just know beforehand that this is Sam Raimi's return to his Evil Dead roots. Nothing is subtle. The cinematography is first rate. The humor is as dark as possible. And most amazing off all, it's all done with a PG-13 rating. Stellar.
Both viewings, the audiences were having the time of their lives which added to the fun.

Probably wont waist time seeing this, The only movie I ever saw that was even remotley scary was The Exorcist (1973), most of it is just gruesome comedy IMO.
