View Full Version : Please help in wireing my sub to amp

I have a Polk pa1100.5 amp and one Rockford fosgate punch p3sd410 dvc 4ohm subwoofer. I don't now how to wire it not to burn out please help :confused: p.s. My box is a ProBox for a 2008 f150,head unite is a pioneer avic-z3, alpine 5 1/4 in front and alpine 6 1/2 in rear.

is the amp 2 ohm stable?

OK 1 ohm stable, from your amp sub out take the neg to neg on sub vc#1 and then go from neg vc#1 to neg vc#2 then run the pos from amp to pos vc#1 and then from pos vc#1 to pos vc#2 this will give you a 2 ohm load and you will be fine.
