I am on time #3 and this is still kickin my ass! The whole album is great, That guy can sing more like he's 32 not 62. Joe's guitar is right on the money, and everything sounds tight, highly recommended!:D

I have seen Sammy a number of times at his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas and that guy just amazes me with his vocal range for a 60+ yo rocker. I am sure his wife keeps him young. This group is a very nice line up of quality musicians. I will be in Cabo next week but am sure I won't see him/them since they are on tour.

So I've listened to the full cd, and still not overly impressed, just not my flavor I guess. He does fine with the vocals, but the music itself to me is just kinda bland, generic rock. I wasn't expecting a prog rock album, but figured with Satch there would be more to it than what I heard.

I don't hate it, but I doub't I'll listen to it again...

Track 2 is straight up legendary IMO.

I had it cranked to about 3-4 oclock on the knob, CD player at half gain - tubes nice and warm and depth, width - clarity and vocal positioning is spot on for a rock track.

Perfect rock track ever. Period. IMO

Just picked it up, and apperently it didn't sell that well when it came out. My copy had three price tags, 13.99...2.99....Then .99. :tongue:

Wow! What do people want for $14.00 nowadays? Seems like a relative bargain even at its regular price.

For the record, Chickenfoot' debut did sell enough to achieve gold record status from RIAA.

Ordered online yesterday and picked it up today. Watched a bit of the DVD. So far, I'm not sure I've gotten my $1.06 worth...

Maybe I need to give it more time, but I'm not enjoying it at all. The whole seems to be much less than the sum of the parts for me.

I'am not quite sure what it is you guys are talking about, the new DVD or thier first album, thumbs up on the album have not seen the DVD, I think I will wait and get the new release when that comes out, I'm not a big Sammy fan loved him with Montrose, some early solo stuff HSAS (Hagar Schon AAronson Shrive) through the fire have this on LP and listening to it right now it is great. thought his Van Hagar stuff was Horrendous and his solo stuff since that was generic, but Chickenfoot was enjoyable I will get the second one as soon as it is released.
