I just picked this up today. Excellent PQ and SQ with great use of the surrounds. I liked this movie a lot. I think it should get an honorable mention for the amount of cute dogs in it too LOL. :p

I like the movie overall but i hate the message it gives.
WAY too leftist and WAY too anti american for me.

Two of the things I like about Clive Owen is he's not afraid to do flicks that are not likely to be blockbuster hits and he doesn't always pick roles with gun toting, I can hit a fly with a Glock at 200 yards, action hero protaganists. This is an intelligent movie (alright, it's not exactly complicated) with a good storyline and plot but has little replay value (rental).

I look forward to his other intelligent film, The International (who came up with that cheesy title?). Available on Blu-ray on June 9th.

I like him too. I hated that Shoot Em Up movie he did. He tends to be in some violent films (Sin City) which I don't like though. (Ultra Violent)

I enjoyed the movie also, but I need some help on the leftist anti-American issues

I see the movie as an assault on a "Big Brother" type of society. Which tend to be Left leaning. :)

I thought the movie was horrible (but that's me). The ending had a message but I still thought it was stupid he just floated off and died.....

I agree he's been in a lot of dumb movies. Shoot-em-up had decent surround sound but the story was written by a bunch of monkeys.

I thought he was great in Sin-City, most of America is desensitized to ultra violence anyways!
