Really intersted in these. Last year I sold my SDA -1s' and purchased the LSI 25 with the LSIC and FXs', I did this because I wanted a full matching set. Since then I truly missed the SDAs' for pure stereo cd listening. I have since picked up a pair of SDA crs and a pair of moded crs.
Now I saw on ebay an ad for the 2.3s. My thinking is to use the 2.3s' as the fronts the moded crs' for rears and one of the other crs' for a center channel.
If I could afford them both I would but can't. I would have to sell off the LSIs'.
What do you think? They are the 2.3s' not tls'. Am I crazy or just nuts?

Personally I'd keep the LS for 5.1 and build a 2.0 system with some SDA's, as this is what they really are for. I actually have an RT system for 7.1 and some 2.3 TL's for 2.0.

If you want the 5.1 sound, stick with the LSI's. The big Polks are great for two channel and don't do justice to a 5.1 setup. People have done it, myself included. The SRT is probably the best way to use SDA's in a 5.1 setup. That system has an active crossover and internal sub amps theat give you better overall control. These are expensive and hard to find, expecially with a working controller. I think they made about 500 sets. Our fellow member Esavinon owns about 400 sets of them (JK Ed!, but I love your Polk passion)
