different versions

Is there any one place or link that explains all the different version of a speaker eg: 1.2TL 2.3TL, I believe I've seen others. I know they have something to do with the mods done to them, but have not seen them listed anywhere.

I would like to know too. since I just bought a Carver amp,I was researching here and there and saw a list that someone had put together in cronological order. Is that possible with the classic Polk Audio line. I hope so..:)
