I have two sets of crs' one with rdo single tweeters and the other with the old dual tweeters. On Sunday picking up one of blue comets sda srs 2s' and I am going to use the single tweeters crs' for the surrounds and one of the dual tweeter crs' for the center channel.
Do you suggest I use the interconnect for the surrounds?
For the center channel, I have disconnected the array tweeter, should I leave it that way or reconnect it? I know that when the interconnect cable is not used the speakers works the same way as a standard speaker but will both tweeters and drivers fire up?
Please let me know, tomorrow I am going to set those up so Sunday I can just hook those srs' up and play all day.

Thanks,
Joe:

Hi Joe, I am going to chime in and suggest you use the the single tweeter CRS+ for your center channel. That set has better crossovers and the center main is more important than the surrounds to be right on the money sonically. I am not sure about using your interconnect cable for the surrounds. If you use a 6.1 system you can use that other CRS+ speaker for the center rear. Maybe someone else has some experience with using CRS speakers for surrounds. I will be interested to hear from other mambers if they agree.

You all have a lot more room than I do if you're using a crs as a center channel.

Not really, built a shelf over top of the tv. The one thing great about a pair of srs' is that you do not need to separate them as much as other floorstanders.
