I've been waiting and waiting on this one for a long time. Hopefully we'll see this one without delay in September. Pre-order at Amazon available. I can't wait to get this one the big screen.

What's with whole Sapphire Collection? Is it better than a normal BD?

I can't wait...along with Braveheart and Forrest Gump. September will be expensive.

Wow -- great news; this was the first DVD I ever purchased (can you believe that?) and I have the SIGNATURE SELECTION DreamWorks disc with the awesome DTS-ES track. It's a favorite of mine. I even named my Black Lab "Maximus" after Crowe's character...

But I am not sure if I will double dip on this just to get the BD because the Signature DVD looks AWESOME upconverted to 1080p on my Panasonic Blu-ray player, which isn't something I can say of most discs in my collection; the DTS-ES track is absolutely wall-rattling and breathtaking in detail and scope, even all these years later, so I'll probably hold on to my DVD.

I'd also like to know about this "special" Sapphire Blu-ray release of this title...

Sherardp,

I see you are a fellow MARANTZ CC4001 CD changer owner...how do you like it? I replaced a CC-67 changer with the 4001, and have it connected to a TASCAM recorder.

I've had the Marantz in my setup for sometime now. I have it connected via analog to my SC-07. SQ is very detailed and soundstage sounds very good to me. I just ordered some SACDs and will be comparing the Marantz to the Oppo playback over HDMI and determine which I like better. I'm actually considering a new CDp in the future, just holding out right now. My travel schedule is so hectic, I won't really get any time with my theater until August.

Thank you for your reply; I too have it connected via analog to my Onkyo TX-SR605 and it sounds okay, but I have been having some issues with its remote when I program tracks from different discs to record to my TASCAM burner; sometimes, the changer will skip a disc programmed -- have you had any issues with your 4001?
