I have a TV I do not need anymore and if you have the need for it then please come and get it.
It comes with a stand. I have to track down the remote. But everything works fine. It is at least 7 years old and does not do HD
It is very heavy, 180LBS, you'll need two strong guys with you.
I'll let this stay here for a week and if nobody needs it I will put it on craigslist.
Let me know.

Great karma Sal.
I have one of those TV's here in the basement, but the kids still watch it. I hired a moving crew to move it and the hutch when I upgraded some years back. That TV is a heavyweight monster!
Somebody grab that thing and bring a truck, you'll love it.

It sure as hell is! I hired a moving crew to move one I had and watched them drop the damn thing before they got to my front door:mad: What was worse was when I asked about their insurance, they said they pay loss claims by the pound! The gave me about 240.00 bucks for that thing (worth about 2,000.00 at the time)
Great TV in its day! Wish I was closer...

Great Karma, I still have a similar Wega model, although earlier model (1997) that I paid $2000 for. This model is an updated version, with flat screen (yr. 2000+). Excellent picture (480i), heavy as sombitches, I have to use sliders to move it around. Guaranteed Hernia if one to carry it by oneself.

It just works and works.
Sony Trinitron TVs are like that....they never died. I remember we had one of those wood console 26" Trinitron TVs in the family room back in the 80s and we sold it to a bunch of college kids. It was 13 years old at the time. Several years later, I saw that TV at a Salvation Army store. I knew it was the same one because of a distinctive mark on the top. And it was still working very well.

I'd be willing to take it as I have a use for it. But I can't do the drive up to Roselle Park, could you possibly meet me somewhere between you and Toms River with it?

My last Tube tv was a Sony XBR 36 inch. It was a monster. Mine was 235lbs. It sucked to move but had a really good picture.
Someone will grab this.
Dan
... Someone will grab this. ...With both hands ... and gloves, hopefully, and a few extra hands from a friend or two as well ...

Sure, if you send two bigs guys to my house with a truck or a van, then I'll ride down with them.

Awesome karma Sal. I still have the 36" XBR 1080i Hi-def which is like 250lbs. Still my main TV and great PQ, but 4:3. Now only if it was 16:9...

Ok sounds good, I won't schedule any work that day.
Please let me know if anything changes.
Also, I guess you should bring some CD's & SACD's to take a listen to the 1.2TL's while you are here.
