A friend is looking to sell me his early to mid 80's Ford truck... and I want to do a little simple research on dimensions of the truck and body styling.

does anyone know of a online resource where I can find pictures of 1980's Ford trucks? I'm not sure if the truck is a F100, F150 or a Ranger.

I'm not to concerned about finding the value.. even though he's saying he wants to get $1,500 for it. That may be slightly high to me. Body and engine are in good condition as is the interior.. but the paint on the hood is peeling pretty bad.

On the other side.. i'm selling my really old 1970 Ford F100 sport for a small $ as it needs tons of work on it.

It will be my second Ford truck... the current one I have and use only during the summer for hauling garbage and moving stuff around is barely holding up.

so this one comes up from a family friend.. and even though it appears it may be about 15 or so years newer than mine.. I know that used vehicles come with their own problems.

I would not need to use it on a daily basis.. only during the weekends in the summer and fall. Maybe for camping if I ever get a wild hair up my hinney. :p

I drove a 1989 with 182,000 miles for my first car...

Very fun truck, I miss it sometimes over my gigantic 2004 F150...

But then again, my current truck is alot better truck than my old one.

The 89 would go through a quart of oil per 1,000 miles --- it shook sometimes. Etc, etc -

I thought you had a '91 F150?
