Best mate for RTI a7. a5s or a9s

Hope everyone had a good day. Question for the group,I want to stay with the RTI a series and would like to know what you folks think would be the best match for a set of rti a7s which I have already. I running A+B on my fronts and I am going to switch out my R50s. what do you think would be best A7s+A5s or A9s+A7s or last resort A9s+A5s and why. I have plenty of watts so thats not a problem and my room is apx 500sq ft with a 18ft ceiling running half of it and I use it for 50/50 music and HT.I dont need it to play very loud(but I like to sometimes) just think it might sound better with the R50s out and I would like all matching speakers and like the look of 4 up front. Gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

That sounds like a big room. If you have the watts and the dough, why not go for the big speakers, RTiA9s.

I think I would go for the a5's. You already have the a7's which has three woofers and 1 mid and you have 2 mfw 15's. So i think I would go for the 5's for more midrange. I'm still new to all this and haven't heard any of these speakers but it seems like you have the low end covered but maybe lacking in the mids. JMO

buying a9's will result in u buying a seperate 2ch amp for sure.

That depends upon whether he truly has his watts covered. I think whether you have a sub factors into this equation as well, not to mention what you are looking to spend.

I feel its missing something. Im new to this also and my ears are still learning whats good and whats bad.Some recordings sound absouletly awesome and some like crap.It sounds cluttered on the upper end.(maybe just the R50s).the volume never goes past -20 which way loud. As for the watts I have one amp running the R50s at 360 wpc and one amp running the A7s at 480 wpc.For music I turn off the subs and mainly use them for HT. The A7s really come to life with either amp running them.My budget is in the a5s range but for a couple hundred more I could probally get the 9s

What you're feeling is missing is probably in the mid-range. The A7's only have 1 mid-bass driver vs the two mid-bass drivers in the A5's and A9's.

Since you're using a sub in your system, The A9's are unneccesary IMO...in fact, if you run the A9's as 'large', you might have bass cancellation issues with the woofers in the A9 and your sub.
