Pop's gettin' a Csi5 (woot, woot). So we must sacrifice the lesser model. Won't lie, there is a nick or two (nothing more) 8/10? Stay down. Now, here's the kicker. A bit of the grill trim decided to get lost in the woods. As in "GONE, KAPUT". We've got pics to show and I'm sure you have eyes to see, but pics are included. So put your weary eyes to rest. I just completed a shootout between the Csi5 and an Infinity Interlude 36C....

I initially thought the 36C would win in a landslide. The Csi5 is a beast, but the Infinity is even moreso. This wasn't the case, however. The Polk won hands down in terms of presence and overall sound quality.

The Infinity Interlude is a great series also. I've heard the IL30 and IL50 towers and they were great. Really excelled in detail and great tonal balance. Would like to hear the IL60 one day as it would be on par with the A9's I would imagine (A9's would move more air). That Infinity series is often overlooked as a great sounding taste of mid-fi in a budget speaker. Polk and Inifinity sure know how to make some cost-effective speaks.

The Infinity was no slouch. And cosmetically, the center is absolutely stunning in maple. It definitely beat out the Csi5 in that category.
