Was going to audition one of these, but never did. Didnt have any intentions of buying one but have you seen the price on those?! Even their single driver units are up there in price

I know a guy who has TWO of them in his 23X25 HT plus TWO F113's in the front. The bass hits so hard it almost hurts! Awesome gear!

I would only hope that subwoofer would hurt me! And yes, JL does make some very quality stuff.. I used to have 2 JL 10w3's in my previous car and they were very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase something from them for my HT, except for that crazy price! I'm not saying it's not worth it, but wow.. I can only wish!

My next purchase is a pair of F112's to round out my 2 Channel system. They one of a few subs capable of keeping up with the ESL's.

The Gotham first retailed for about $9k, then they've gone up to around $12k in a very short period of time; talk about inflation!
