I just bought these a few days ago from this here forum and, being the genius that I am, assumed that they were a different length than they actually were. They were too short for my setup so I'm just re-posting them for the same price I paid.

I own 4tc terminated with Postmaster Kimber Spades which are my favorite Spades.

I'm also surprised no one grabbed these especially at your asking price. They are probably the best all around speaker cables at there price point. I love em. If I had a need for another pair, I would grab these in a second.

I'm sure they will sell.

Holding out for the 8tc. Those need a good home. Kimber cables

You can take the 10 ft. pair to put together to make one string of 8TC and the 8 ft. pair to make another string of 8TC. That's a good alternative to buying 8TC as it give you more flexibility in the future.

I thought I was going to use all this 4TC to wire the HT, but I've just decided to use the basic wire I have now and focus on 2 channel. I never hooked up the 4TC in the HT because I know if I did, I would want to keep it. Must resist...

How do they compare to Signal Ultra? I like signal expect the top end is very mellow for my taste.
I'm in a market for a 10ft pair of Kimber 8tc, 12tc, 4tc?? or Silver Resolution if they would make a substantial difference over the Ultra's.
I was also thinking about Zu Julian but dropped the idea as I read that they perform similar to signal ultra.
I recently switch cables from Monster M2.4s to Signal Ultra and did not find anything lacking in the ultra's compared to M2.4s that are substantially priced higher.

I would definitely say that they are a step above the Signal Ultras. More detailed and better highs. I know mantis has tried lots of different cables vs the 4TC. The 4TC is definitely a step up over the Ultras.

I think the 4TC will definitely give you a more detailed (but not bright) top end.

hey Gebby how do these compare to those totems we swapped back and forth a few months back?

I would say more balanced overall. 4TC has great highs like the totem tress but with a little more midrange weight and detail. I used both on my LSi15's and would choose either. It's just the totems are hard to find and not quite as easy to work with as the 4TC
