I can personally attest to the fact that the ADCOM 555 is a great amp. Tons of headroom to spare and it can drive the most difficult of speakers. It's a great buy!

Still wish I could spring for your A5's to match, but I would need to sell the Rti8's or Fxia3 & Tci8's to recoup the cost. Looking forward to maybe upgrading next year to A9's like you did. Be sure to let us know how the A9's sound in your system. Maybe I could get a demo some day???

I've had them on both amps and AVR's. Currently they're just sitting but my Elite sc-07 did a great job pushing them.I've had a Rotel 1095,1075,1080 and a couple Adcoms on them and they sounded fantastic. I haven't really used them much for music because I usually use my sda's for music. 200 watts is more than sufficient, they're very easy to push.

I have a HK 3490 which can accept an external amp so I assume the Adcom would work. Also needed to know shipping charges to 45424 along with payment options if I decide to buy it. Tks

Yes, they'll work very well with your HK and RTI a9's.

You need to work on the wording a bit.You can't just say,"tunes,beer,and women". I am really trying to go with bookshelves now that I'll be living in apartments for the coming years...that's why I downgraded from LSis in the first place...
