problem with blueray player

Help guys, I have tried to watch a couple of bluerays that I rented and neither of them will play. I can watch the previews on both and one will actually go to the menu screen and when I push play it locks up. I have never had a problem with this player. I don't think that its the movies but maybe I'm wrong. Anyone that has any suggestions I would really appricate it.

Is it the BDP-51 in your sig? Have you loaded the latest firmware? The Pio is famous for it's incompatibility with many disc's, especially FOX titles.

Yes it is the one in my sig, and no I haven't done that latest firmware. I guess maybe I could try that. Thanks for the quick reply.
