There are 3 different auctions on eprey and I'm thinking about bidding on one of them. Are these any better or worse than the other Carver amps, i.e. TFM 55, TFM 35, TFM 42, etc? Thanks for the input.

They are some of the best amps that Carver Coporation put out. Only one is better and that would be the Silver 7 tube amp. Though it's cost was about $22,000 and I think 10 or so were ever made.

That statement does not include Sunfire. They are very good and I want a pair of Silver 9t's. But the Sunfire 600x2 is one of the best amps IMO ever made by Bob Carver.

BTW, not knowing how much $$$ you have I would go for the Silver 9t's. The power meters light up and it has a little base boost from flat were as the Silver 7t's don't have lighted meters and will stay flat on base.

Yes I'm gonna go for the 9T's and if I win the auction hopefully they will sound great on the 1.2TL's. Anyone else have any opinions of the Silver 7t's or 9t's? Guess I better get over to the Carver forum and find out there .......
