Does anyone have any thoughts on this sub?

Sounds like an upgrade over the H100, but you never know. I'd like to see the specs. The H100 rolled off around 28hz, but had decent and clean output. The PL200 even as a upgrade would likely be a placeholder sub. Great as a starter sub and if you never get the bug, it will keep you happy. If you get the bug, then it's best to start saving.

Isn't this the update to the H100? If thats the case, based on the price of the PL-200, you're better off dropping an extra 50 bucks or so for the HSU STF-2 (383 shipped.)

My thoughts are just paying an extra 170 and getting a black satin av123 mfw15 even though people think its a risk

I wonder how bigred got on after buying one of the black diamond models , i would love to hear his thoughts

The problem this sub is facing is that it has stiff competition at its current price point, and there are no professional reviews putting it up against it's similarly priced competition like the STF-2 or ED A2 300, which is $350 shipped. I would be surprised if it could best either of the above subs. If you're interested in H-100 performance, take a look at the direct H-100 replacement, the BIC F12, at approximately $190 shipped.
