Ben's Silver Innerconnects VS. Audioquest Diamaondbacks

Hello to all,

I have a question to any member(s) who has had a chance to here both of these cables. I am looking to purchase either one of these cables and was wondering which one y'all thought would be the better cable for my use?

FYI I will be using this between a Denon DCM-390 cd player and a Parasound P/FET-900II Preamp. My amp is an Adcom GFA-555 and speakers are RTA-12Bs. I am running mostly AQ Diamondback ICs in my system now and do enjoy the way they sound. However, I've read lots of great things about Ben's ICs and if they are vastly superior to the AQ's, I wouldn't mind trying them. If I had the cash to buy both and compare right now, I would, but money is tight, Thanks in advance

I'm not sure that either would be "superior." Different, for sure. Ben's will probably be more detailed, slightly brighter, being silver. In my system? That would be a bad thing.

Yours? I have no idea. :) I say you try them. Would be easy to recoup most if not all of your money in the event you don't like them.

It's just as concealer says. I have Ben's IC's all over my system and for an SDA IC. Pretty awesome stuff he makes.

Not sure about Ben's IC's (I have his speaker cable) but the other silver cables in my system are a noticeable improvement over the AQ Diamondbacks. Don't be worried about them being bright. I used to think that. They are more detailed, top to bottom, but definitely not bright. If anything they are blacker in the background.
