Tube amp in rack

I have a Salamander Archetype 5.0 rack and a turntable on the top shelf. I've just bought a Rogue Cronus tube integrated with the bias meter and adjustment mechanisms on the top panel - these would be much easier to access if the amp was on the top shelf. I am also concerned about the heat from the tubes damaging the shelf above it if the amp is not located on the top shelves (I know the Archetype has height adjustable shelves, but..).

So it's either the turntable or the amp on the top shelf. I like to clean my stylus and run a carbon fiber brush over my records prior to playing. Is anyone else in the same predicament? Any suggestions?

P.S. - I know a wallmount turntable stand would cure all, but that's not really feasible right now..

Nice Cronus tube amp!

I have a Rogue Stereo 90 for about 4 months now and absolutely love it. It does get hot, but I keep mine on the bottom shelf and haven't noticed any problems. If it were me, I'd keep the turntable on top. Or you could try each way for a days/weeks to see how it works.

Thanks for the advice! I think I'll try the Cronus on the bottom shelf, as bending over to clean records is a pain..lol. The Stereo 90 loooks like a killer amp! I was torn between the Rogue Atlas / Metis separates or the Cronus, but really wanted the simplicity of an integrated, until upgraditis hits :D
