Ask if they are common ground if they are not ask if it would be OK to tie the black terminals together.

Use Google for "THEIR" contact information...not "THERE". Plus.....speak with "THEIR" customer service, not "THERE". What's that expression about a tea kettle and black??? Hmmmmm......Shall I get into the lacking punctuation? Ok I will...let me redo your last sentence.

"Ask if they are common ground, if they are not, ask if it would be OK to tie the black terminals together."

You need a "comma" in two places.

I am NOT a grammar expert, but remember, if you are going to criticize someone about THEIR grammar, make darn sure that YOU don't make any mistakes.

Use a multi-meter between the two negative speaker terminals. If you get continuity, or 0 ohms, it's common ground.

Hey Joe,
Did you read or try and read the op? Have you seen the wrecks that slowypolky posted? Far from my mistakes. I did laugh at your post anyway, so THERE THEIR THEY'RE you go.

I like to know if any one had used BRYSTON 7B-ST with sda srs.

Those are mono block amps and cannot be used with your SDA SRS speakers unless the serial numbers are greater than 5001. If they are then you will need to use the AI-1 isolation transformer in order to be able to use mono block, dual mono or non-common ground amps.

Yeah I read it and understood it, but he is not slowpolky, so he doesn't deserve to be treated like that. IMO, you can't pick at the way people spell, for all you know they may be dyslexic and it's no fault of theirs. The guy was asking a simple question and he ends up getting criticized for his grammar. Put yourself in his shoes for a minute and see if you like it. Come to think of it, I did put you in his shoes! I'm glad I made you laugh.

What's that expression about a tea kettle and black??? Very but very good point! I see soooo many pointers/comments on grammar. What's the point, stick with the OP and provide valuable contribution if you can and if not, NO need to be an ass. People aren't here to learn their grammar but ratter the hobby. Nuff said!

Here a short thread on this amp: https://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7163 there might be more informal posts, just search the site.

Oh, here some interesting info on the AI-1 isolation Xfo mentioned by F1: http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74472

Good luck!

You missed the point entirely. The point is some people should use the spell check, try a little harder to better explain themselves using somewhat proper vocabulary/grammar if they expect the same. It's not the first time Roy has struggled to communicate and I was just trying to help him along.

is simply uncalled for. If you look at Roy Boy posts, you will notice that never has he ever displayed a bad/negative attitude. He is eager to learn, listens to advices and puts them to practice (as you probably withnessed your self since you helped/got involved in some of his queries). I understand how difficult some of his posts may be to read but as Joe points out, you never know where a poster comes from. You know, if it takes a university degree to be a CP member, I have to admit that even my self would be out of the picture however, never have I seen such requirement when I joined the club.

Struggle:

1 : to make strenuous or violent efforts in the face of difficulties or opposition <struggling with the problem>
2 : to proceed with difficulty or with great effortMaybe we should have consideration and respect in the case of a number 2?

Cheers!

Cheers TK, You still don't get where I was coming from and neither does Joe. That is fine with me but I just hope Roy understands and put more thought into his posts and pre-reads them. If for no other reason he may get some as you say respect, which is generally earned.

Hi. Yesterday after 4pm someone from BRYSTON called and they sad they can be used as PARALLEL mode not as SERIES mode. But doing that I can get only about 250 watt from each amp. :D Now I know. Thank you

We just got rid of one guy who does not pre-read his posts and now you!! I guess we all agree it is uncalled for but that's it and it's over. As I pointed out you helped Roy in the past so no biggy. Seems like everyone is worked up after the slowpolkie story, let's just get over it and carry on. Roy has been honest with us, this should help us understand and be a little more tolerant. The good side of all this, Roy seems to be a quick learner and the more he socialise with the forum, the faster his english will improve (as long as he doesn't grasp too much of the heavy grammar on cursing and name calling of this site, he'll do fine) ;)

Cheers!

To no one in particular.....

Here is what I use for a spell checker, it helps if you post a lot.

IeSpell (http://www.iespell.com/)

Loads up and is found under the tools menu. Of course it only works with Ie.

Firefox has a built in spell checker... They don't work when you are actually checking a valid dictionary entry, ie "sad = said" or "who = how"...

My favorite part of this whole thread was the "pot - kettle" comment...
