Well I made a cutting to to cut the DE.

I took a piece of pipe and sharpened the end to punch Quarter sized circles for my drivers. I punched enough to do my 1.2tl's and my 1C's.

It worked really well 1 good wack with a rubber mallet.

Ok I'll bite, what are all the little circles for?

I am going to put them on my drivers one on each post. I really dont think you need more then that.

I will post pics.

They are a little bigger then a quarter, and a lot faster to cut this way.

I suggest covering the spokes with more than that. A razor knife and straight edge or large scissors work very well.

Carpet scissors work great.

Put your wife's muffler tip back on before she finds out.

This worked very well IMO, I really don't see where you need to cover the whole spoke
And the circles I cut cover most of the spoke.

I put eight per driver, and it took the ring out of them.

I did cut strips for the passive.

I am very happy with the results.

Good idea. Now, Pics of the finished drivers!!

Where do you notice the improvement? In any particular piece of music or frequency?

I would guess it is better on the low frequencies, but that's like I said, a guess.
