I am looking for a solution to my newly found home audio needs. the question is this. If I have a psw303 as my sub. does it make any sense to buy the rti38's as my fronts vs. the rit28's. the 28s are a bit cheaper and I think they have the same tweeters...

I can't see decided difference. I'd try to match the best you can with your center.

Both I think would be fine, especially in a HT setup where anything under 80hz is going to the sub....

There's only about $100/pair difference betweem the 2. I'd go for the 38's if it were my $$.

The 38 should be a better choice. It will handle more power than the 28 and will sound better overall. If money is an issue, you can start with the 28's and when you're ready for better mains, get the 38's and use the 28's as rears.
