Modern speakers

Are there any modern speakers which sound similiar / comparable to the Monitor 5 please?

I A/B'd a set against both my Titans and my old Polk VS-25s.

Very similar to the VS-25 (for obvious reasons) but with a little less bass.

The Titans were pretty similar in overall response, but warmer across the board, and didn't seem near as harsh up top.

That being said, i didn't have the 5s for long, and i didn't go through them. They were functional in that all drivers were working, they sealed well, and there were no noticeable huge spikes or pops/crackles or anything of the sort, but they were also a $20 pair. So take that with a grain of salt. :)

Titans won out for me overall, though i'm about to buy my VS-25s back.
