What are people's thoughts on these? Seller says they're "Monitor 11T". Look like RTA 11Ts to me. Easier/more difficult to drive than Mon 7/10s? How's the sound? Any owners here that can chime in?

Also curious about Xover upgrades anyone has done with these and their results. Looks like they may take RD0194s?

11Ts, yup.

Buy them. They like power, but should be fine if you can already push 10s.

What kind of price have they put on them, if i may be so bold to ask?

dane_peterson,

They are definitely RTA11t's, but were in Polk Audios Moniter Line from back in the day.

Those really look like a beautiful set of speakers and yes, that is the correct tweeter replacement.
I personally wouldn't hesitate on buying them if I needed another set of speakers.

Anyways, I hope that you are able to get the RTA's. I know that you wil enjoy the heck out of them if you do.

They are very efficient and easy to drive but really shine when you feed them some decent current.

Yep, those are great speakers IMO. I really love mine. The Xover and RDO upgrade really brings them to a whole other level. Most everything I heard on here is good about the 11T, so I must not be too crazy:) Good luck!

Dang, there are RTA11's all over the place lately. I recently saw 2 different pairs in CL in my area.

I was (still am) blown away as to how much difference the XO upgrade and RDO's make. Enjoy!

Used to have the 11tl's way back when. Nice speaker that I always wished I would have kept. Wait a minute, you sure are getting around with speakers lately Dane!

I'm moving them quickly, aren't I? I'm just becoming a hoarder like several other Polkies...

My philosophy, regardless my financial situation, is if there's a pair of vintage Polks under $100, I'll pick em up. No exception here--they're in my trunk.

I'm going to do an A+B test tonight or tomorrow vs the SDAs. Will probably sell one of them, which I'll use to fund Xovers and tweeters.
