they didnt mention the word 'rubber surround' to psw10 :p

Not even close.
1) Different size
2) Different materials (foam surround on PSW10)
3) If you see them in person you can tell they are not even related to one another and look considerably different. Woofers on the RTi series look much nicer.

Aside from the cones being made of similar materials...they're completely different woofers.

Both are grey, and made by Polk sooooooo yeah they're similar.

Wiring a PSW10 to a Monitor 50 is a poor man's RTi speaker.
It can provide decent bass enhancement to the Monitors.
They actually don't sound too bad for music or HT in that configuration.
