Looking for an hdmi cable that is at least 35 feet long. Price range under 50 (ideally significantly so). The hdmi cable I got recently broke (tip bent in the receiver because it was too small).
Thank you,
Mark

lol, yea I know, just figured I would give used and cheaper a try if possible. If I do resort to monoprice would it be best to go for a 22 or 24 awg wire? Is there a huge difference?

Given you need more than 15 ft., I would go with the Blue Jeans Cable HDMI: http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/hdmi-cables/index.htm
If you want a premium HDMI cable, I would search ebay for the Wireworld Ultra-Violet.

I have no idea.
Maybe contact Blue Jeans Cable and see what they think.

My understanding from my video industry friend is that you're better off with component over that distance.

Have you tried HDMI over ethernet? There was a discussion thread about it in the clubhouse somewhere.

For the length you want at 50.00 your screwed. ( of any quality). And if your going to go HDMI spend the money and get GOOD ones. Also check transfer rates. Sometimes that's the price diff.
