Well I'm selling my Marantz SR9200 because I recently upgraded to a SR9600. If I had the room I'd keep this receiver. It's in good/excellent condition, works flawlessly, runs cool, has a nice warm sound and plenty of power-140WPC! I'm a non-smoker, clean freak and original owner. If this is anything like Denon's higher end models (I hear Denon and Marantz have very similar components) then this one is no slack off. HDMI's on a receiver is a convenience, and you can still get HD codecs over multichannel analog if a bluray player internally decodes and sends over LCPM.

Yes, you are correct, this unit is not a slacker. Plenty of power 140 wpc and it has comfortably driven my LSI 15's, which isn't always an easy task for a receiver alone. If I had the room I'd keep it.

What is the other differences between this model and SR6003 aside from the wattage per channel?

Yes, this has preouts and this one is MUCH more powerful than the 6003. This one has a toroidal power supply and will be much more controlled than the 6003. Not even a close comparison.
