WTB 6 or 8 foot HDMI cable

Nothing fancy needed, just something to get the job done. You guys gotta have something laying around you don't want/need anymore. My wife pulled the connector out of my Rocketfish cable tonight while dusting, it was on it's way out anyway just trying to milk it alongh as long as I could. Was gonna go to Wally World or check Craigslist, but wanted to see what you guys had first. Preferably 8', but 6' will do. Thanks.

Thanks for the link, I saw a 4' Rocketfish cable for sale locally here on Craigslist for $20, but that would be too small I think. I am hoping for something from a fellow Polkie, but if worst comes to worst I may just spring for another 8' Phillips from Wally World.

+1 on monoprice. I have their HDMI 1.3a cables connected to all of my equipment (hd-dvd, bluray, hd tv tuner) and work nicely. If I remember correctly, monoprice sells hdmi cables with 22awg and 26awg wires. I found 22awg ones stiffer than expected and connectors were really stiff and heavy - too much load on weak hdmi ports, so I went with 26 awg and really like those. [edit]I just saw the link above - 28awg is what I have.

Thanks Pauly, lost touch of this thread when I went out and bought one from WallyWorld, I appreciate the effort though. Wish I had seen this earlier, lol this was exactly what I was hoping for, a great offer from a fellow Polkie.
