Anyone care to suggest a no-frills stereo receiver that can reliably drive 4 Ohm speakers? Would be for a whole-house background music system. I need a tuner and a couple of other inputs (don't need phono). It's for a friend, so I think I'm mostly looking for something new, but if you've got a deal on a used one I'd like to hear about it. Thanks!

We have a few floor model NAD's that might fit the bill. Very nice sounding and 4 ohms all day long. PM me.

Carver AVR-100. You can't find one new, but they go used on CL pretty often (or I think Tom has one for sale at www.vintagehifipgh.com). My father-in-law got one for like $100 on CL not too long ago. It's pretty sweet.
