hi im new to this forum but i have read alot here and have learned alot too. my system is as follows 46in philips hdtv, sony400 disc dvd/cd player, pioneer elite vsx-94thx rated at 140watts per ch. sonyps3, sony blue-ray player, dish network hd dvr (vip722), and a belkin pure a/v surge protector. the speaker system is all polk. front left and right are rti10 which is bi-amp off receiver, csi5 center channel, rti8 for the surrounds and 2 psw1000 subs. would like to know if you had this system how would you run the speaker system would you run exteral amps for the speaker system or would you hook the left fornt speaker off one sub and run the right speaker off the other sub. right now after running the receiver auto set-up it set all speakers to large and crossover in receiver is set at 80. just would like to hear and get some ideals from some of you, will post pictures soon

Welcome to Club Polk. I don't have that set up, BUT it kind of depends on what your listening preferences are:
1. For music: 2 Y-splitters off of the Pioneer L/R rca preouts to both an external amp and the L/R rca inputs on the subs. That way you'd get the full range of music even in stereo.
2. For HT: 1 Y-splitter off the 'sub-out' to the LFE in on both subs, and then regular interconnects to an external amp for the RTi10's.
OR, you could split the difference, and do option 1 for one sub, AND option 2 for the other
YMMV

it sounds good the way it is, just trying to get some other ideals from you guys. i have a pair of rti38`s that i wanted too use for surrouds but had to go with the rti8 becuase of room( i live in a apartment). what would the diffrence between wiring the fornt l/r speakers to each sub as to using the lfe on the receiver, i know its a dumb question but i have to ask. was reading a old post by this guy from this site is name is haywood jabllomi and took about 90 percent of the bass management from the receiver.

thanks will post pics soon, if you had this system how would you hook up the speakers. would you use external amps or use the receiver power, would you bi-amp off the receivers surround back? just trying to get some good ideals. any advice would help

How big is your apartment to get all that stuff in there?? And 2 PSW 1000's in an apartment? Your neighbors must absolutely hate you?!? Sounds like a very nice system though and welcome to Club Polk.
