my Shower?

I have a linen closet right next to my shower and I want to put some gear in that closet with maybe an ipod dock and I was thinking about two Marine 6.5 2-ways in the wall inside the shower on either side of the shower head.

Any ideas on which model I can use?

Or should i just mount a pair of Atrium 55's in the shower?

Thanks,

Sal

Get what ever sounds best, but don't forget to get a couple of marine 10's to put in the ceiling in an IB configuration:)

One of my friends actually mounted a marine head unit into the wall of his shower with two way speakers for the sound. It was a pretty cool setup.

I wouldn't put any AC powered electronics in the bathroom...

I am having visions of a recording studio in the bathroom for all those shower singers.

I think a pair of SRS 1.2 TL's would be perfect for your bathroom,...... as if you don't spend Enough time in there already....

you could get a diamond tipped one...for a couple hundred +++ ...I would just cut it close with a diamond bladed 4" angle grinder and trim it up with a rotozip with a tile bit..you have to be carefull, but they do cut clean.

they might have one at a renal place though.

If I had one you'd be more than welcome to use it, but alas thats not a common plumbing size.

I just use my 4" grinder with a diamond blade to score the tile then a small cold chisel takes care of the rest. It's a little messy but it does the job.

If you need help you have my Number, I'll be at "Chowder fest" in LBI this weekend, but later next week might work.

I think I'm just going to hang my Atrium 45's in the shower! ;)

I was thinking of doing with with our bathroom. If you look at the car audio speakers the mm series would work well in the bathroom as they are waterproof and do not need a lot of power to sound good. That is what I was going to go with.

How much time do you guys spend in the bathroom?

I have sound in few rooms of the house, but have never even considered the bathroom. If I were to do something like that, I agree with madmax, no electronics, just speakers, powered off the main system.
