I currently have RT2000P's and love them but have a chance to possibly sell them and get RTi12's. I love my 2000p's for there two 8" powered "subs" but also hate them sometimes for the same reason. Lots of bass but I often find it difficult to really get them playing well with my sub how I like.

It seams like I could probably get much better high's and mid's from the rti12's and maybe bass down to a point, but that's what I can use my sub for.

So I would love to hear from anyone who possibly listened to both of thease sets of speakers and could tell me how the RTi12's would compare.

IMO it would be up to you.

I have found that I am always tweeking my system by chaning the sub volume or the cross over point or the phase. It seems like every CD I put in I have to make some adjustment to my system to make it sound the way I like it.

Exactly the reason I gave up powered towers along time ago.
Get the 12'S and don't look back. With a good sub, they will rock. Feed them some current too and you'll forget all about those 2000's.
