OK, I have a vintage driver (Sansui) in need of repair--The surround is separated from the cone. Looks to be made from rubberized fabric.

What kind of glue should I use to reattach this?
Any thing else I need to be aware of?

While I was researching silicone today, I ran across an article where a guy used material from a nylon stocking and silicone to repair his speaker surround. He claims it works great. I didn't catch the guy's name but I bet it was Red Green.

Not that I am suggesting that you give it a try, I just got a laugh out of it.

What was he repairing? A tear or hole in the foam surround?

the cloth surround glue came loose. IMO Elmer's glue should work fine.
