There's a lengthy back story to this, but I'm too p.o.'d right now to go into it. The short version: I got my Adcom back from a service facility, hooked it back up, turned it on, and "pop", it looks like it instantly blew a fuse, and some ugly noises came from the sides. No sound coming from the centers, and very low levels from the A4's. I immediately switched it off. I plugged my centers and sides into my AVR to test, and the centers sound fine, but the A4's are only producing a weak/thin sound from the tweets, and nothing from the bass/mid driver.

My question: Does the FXi A4 have a fuse that can be replaced or reset, or are they history? The Adcom repair is under warranty, but I'm trying to figure out if there is a quick fix for the speakers, or if I need to pull them down and take them back to the shop also.

AFAIK there is no fuse, i think who ever serviced your amp did a boo-boo and you may have to chase them for replacement's :o

That's what I was afraid of, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking the obvious before I go back and chew them a new one. I've been working on this system since August, and this was the last link. When I plugged it all in last night, and it went bang in the first millisecond, I nearly lost it.
