I guess I'm a glutten for a good deal. Even though I am fully speakered up at the moment i.e. I have the main HT plus the garage rig plus the RT800's I'm selling, I can't pass up a pristine set of RT1000i's plus whatever the subwoofer is that he's selling all for $125.......:D

I bought a set of these for 100.00 (no extra sub) and love 'em. They have built in subs which are not bad. Totally worth 100.00 for my extra rig.

Getting them from someone selling on Craigslist. I'm heading to his house this afternoon to find out which sub I'm getting. I suspect it will be a lower model PSW but who knows? :D Not a bad afternoon of fun for the price and don't be surprised when they end right back up on Craigslist and at a slightly higher price......I have to support my audio addiction somehow :D

oh, but first there will have to be a family photo 800's, 1000's, 2000's, and maybe I'll haul all of them out to the HT room to get the 3000's in the picture too.

Well,
I got them home. They are MINT! The lady who owned them cared for them extremely well. When I walked in, she showed me the towers and then pointed to the 'subwoofer' as she called it which happened to be a Polk center channel speaker. The label was off so I have a little research to do. They're home and tested out great! Even without a separate sub, I think the haul was well worth the $125.....not to mention the fact that it is really a LOT of fun to have a 'family reunion' of polk speakers in the same house, even if it is temporary until I sell off some of them.

OK, it was a quick find on Polk's vintage speaker list. the center channel is a CS200. Nothing spectacular but worth a few bucks.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention the 25ft of Monster 14 gauge speaker wire and 2 full sets of Monster banana plugs she included! :D
