RT600s for $50, do i need them?

Well, my Monitor 7s are going to Nikolas812 in a couple weeks, which will leave me with only two pairs of speakers! (GASP!!!)

So, that'll give me the setup in the living room, with the Titans serving as rear channel duty, and nothing in the bedroom.

I can get a pair of RT600s in pretty good shape for $50. Do i need them, or would i be dumb to pass them up at that price?

If i DO get them, where do i put them? Bedroom, or as rear surrounds in the living room?

I say go for it for $50.00... if you're not happy with them I'm sure you could then resell them for the same $50.00 and not lose any money over it.

Better suited for Surround duty or as bedroom stereo speakers? Just curious on opinions here, since i'm sure i'll try them in both anyways, and i'm slightly reluctant to give up the full Paradigm idea for the HT. :p

I have mine as surrounds and I love them, very full sound IMO. But I agree with TroyD, Does it really matter?? I would jump at the chance to get a pair for $50. I thought I got mine for a steal at $80... And like they always say to me... we want pics lol

If nothing else, the drivers as replacements for something else are worth $50!

Well, since yesterday, seller seems to have a communication issue... tried to contact them again this morning, we'll see what happens. Oh well.
