Hi,

I was just wondering if I could spark any interest in buying my SVS SB12-Plus. I am interested in getting the PC12-NSD due to room placement constraints. If there is any interest, I will post pics. Also, does anyone know what the fair market value on this sub would be? It is in mint condition and doesn't get much use. I still have the original box and manual.

Let me know if there is any interest.

Thanks,

Ray

I see the current price at SVSOUND is $649. Does $500.00 sound like a good price?

Where are you located and what color is it? I currenly have the pb12 plus/2 and I'm looking for something sealed and smaller.

I am located in CT and it is the basic black color.

The SB12 is a fantastic sub. I am using one with my Magnepan 1.6's and it's fast and blends well. It compared very well to some name brand subs that command a much higher price point.

Your point being that I should not sell it? I want to get the pc12-nsd so I can put it behind a sectional, in the corner of the room. I can't do that with the SB12-Plus. Not only that, but calibrating the SB12-Plus is too complicated, in my opinion. I just want to be able to "set it and forget it".

My comments were related to the quality of the sub and that forum members should give it serious consideration for either music or HT. Your rationale for why you want to change subs makes sense and my comments were not meant to question that.

Besides, who really needs a rational reason to swap out gear and get something new!

dkg999,

Thanks for the input. I appreciate you trying to "plug" the sub for me! Do you think $500.00 is too much to ask for this "fantastic" sub?
