What kind of budget do you have? You could run a Adcom 555 and it would do nicely. Or get two and run them bridged. They normally run about 350ish from what i have seen.

A Rotel 1080 at 200w @ 8ohms will work.

I have an Emotiva xpa5 and even though it is designed for multi channel it help's the a9's sing in 2ch :)

Eventually i would like to try an xpa2 or a pair of xpa1's :o

They really shine the more power they get. I used a Adcom 555 and Rotel 1080 with mine and they sounded great. I had a chance to demo the Rotel 1092 class D amp with my A9's and they really came to life.

I started out with Outlaw Audio (M2200)powering my RTi12s, and they loved the power while performing even better. Give them a run, they are inexpensive amps and sound great also. There is a Rotel in the flea market for an excellent price.

I'm using Car ver M-400 bi-wired works great. You will soon tire of 200w. I've been kicking around the idea of a RB-1090 ROTEL-380w.Based on current economic conditions I don't see it as a reality at this point , but my ears say that should do the trick. Currently switching system over to my CROWN Macro Reference but a little aprehensive at cooking my speakers at 760 watts.
