This is open to all active Club Polk members within the CONUS. Sorry, no Alaska or Hawaii at this time.

You'll have two(2) weeks to listen to the speaker(s) and when the demo is completed, contact me for pre-paid shipping arrangements to the next person.

I am interested in the demo too.. and I don't want to step on anyone's toes or cut in line.. but when the item gets to Jeff (wutadumsn23) maybe the sub could stay here an extra week and I could demo the sub since we live very close by.. same city.

would cut the demo time to the next person down the line. I rarely need two weeks to demo an item. one week is usually enough for me.. would make sense since the sub will already be in Spokane for us to both demo it instead of it having to come way out west 4 weeks later.

i'll leave it up to the power that be though.. but if this makes sense to anyone else besides me.. let me know what's decided. either way.. i sent an email to be added to the demo list.

Got delivery today........ of the SurroundBar IHT, was expecting the wireless sub, but I am in no way complaining. I wanted to demo the SurroundBar too, but took my name off the list because it was so long. Not sure how I got it, just wanted to let you know I have it. I'll let you know if the wireless sub shows up too, I still want to demo that.

Conradicles what did you think? Did you use it with the SDAs, and if so how well did it work with them?

Posted a short review on the Polk website and I did like this sub. Both of my rigs have SDA's so I tried it in each. Honestly, for some odd reason I liked it better in my 2-channel system. It did not do very well in my H/T system. I tried multiple configs and calibrations and could not get the sound I liked.

This would be perfect with a Polk Surround Bar.:cool:

I have the label email from FedEx. Everything is correct there, except the "rooftop53" part.

I realize I'm a noob and have figured out after reading the demo threads for the soundbar and TSi200's that I probably am not enough of a contributor yet to qualify but would like you to know that I am interested. My father is putting together a new system this spring w/ tax refund $ and has some wireless needs for his setup. I would love to have him over and demonstrate the sub for his consideration. I think its great that Polk and this forum gives its members the opportunities and help along w/ great customer service to participate in these demo's. Would love the opportunity to try any Polk equipment. I'll continue to watch the threads and post when I can add something relevant and hope in time I'll be added to the list. Thanks! Travis

I'm not sure if it is listed anywhere, but what exactly are the requirements for getting in on these demo's? I'm fairly new (here), so I realize I'm pretty much out.

I'd be interested if this thing shows up in the Minneapolis area though - I'll bring the 6-pack you let me listen to the sub? So far in the last 2 months I've bought all new speakers, a new TV, receiver and BDP based on this forum. The last thing on my list to get rid of is my $99 Sony Black Friday special, and actually listen to a "real" sub (wireless or not I guess, but the wireless does intrigue)

(I'd be willing to put a deposit on any gear if necessary? Trust goes both ways I guess - but the ball is in your court so I don't have much say in it)

Any option for posting up a "current" list? I know I'm one of the last ones on the list, but I'm not sure if there are 5 or 50 people on that list. My only concern is with having something show up at my house unannounced. Not that I'm really worried about it walking off, I just don't generally care for surprises. lol

When I order something online - I'd much rather have a 2 week ETA emailed to me, rather than the item showing up in 3 days without any confirmation.

This process isn't ordering something online and as loosely as it's handled, since we're flexible to the needs of membership and things that happen over the course of shipping to 20 different ppl....if you need exact shipping dates, this demo isn't for you.

We try and keep it timely but often have unforseen issues that factor into the actual demo. I haven't seen any complaints from anyone having to spend extra time with a free demo. As an aside, I have seen complaints from participants about lag time between demos, which is 100% valid. We're doing our best here and you may experience a longer than normal wait time between demos....that sounds like an actual phone lobby but its true dude.

I update the original thread as the product moves to the next person and the "list" is current and by individual. If there is a problem, the shipper and receipient usually let me know. You'll know ahead of time when it's coming. There aren't 50 ppl on the list...only what is posted in the original thread.

Thanks for the info Doro. I wasn't trying to get on your case or anything. I was mainly looking to get a ballpark (which I can do on my own with the list in the first post). I wasn't sure if I was looking at 6 weeks, or 2 years without knowing what the list consisted of. I've been following this thread long enough to see that the timing hasn't exactly been a science - but that's cool with me. I think it's great we even have the option for a demo to begin with. I seem to have the highest end stuff of all my friends, and a store demo just doesn't do justice.

Not complaining, but just curious if there is an "order" to the list? It would make sense if the sub is traveling in a general direction, to keep shipping costs down (rather than shipping it coast to coast every other time)

The reason I ask / speculate on this is I've been on the list since January, and I noticed deseroner just asked in September, and he has already received the sub and is ready to pass it on.

Again, glad to have this opportunity, I just wanted to be sure something didn't happen along the way that I was unaware of.
