I came across this craiglist ad for a bunch of different vintage speakers. I'm wondering if someone here on the forum who is knowledgeable in different speaker brands could point to any possible gems in the listing? I'm thinking my garage rig may now become my speaker demo rig as $$ permits.....

That is a completely insane sale. Makes me think it is too good to be true.
I'd jump on many of them, but the Polk LS90 are a steal.
Bring a loaded handgun just in case you get jumped...HeHe.
Con...is right....what is this guy? A HT installer? An estate lawyer? Or....you guess?
That's a SHT-load of speakers--most of them vintage!

On the same note without starting a new thread, have any of you had experience with Klipsch Corner Horns... Ive seen them priced on c-list for a ton of money and may have stumbled on a crazy deal... thoughts?

Holy crap... i'd be taking out a loan to grab at least half of those and be in comparison heaven for a few months.

Klipschorns are amazing (if idiosyncratic) beasts. If you have the room (literally and figuratively) for a pair and empathetic electronics (think single-ended 2A3 amps and analog sources or absolutely top-end digital stuff) they can be stunning. They're a bit of an acquired taste. The "smaller" Klipsch Heritage all-horn speakers (LaScala/Belle Klipsch) are harder to live with, as they lack the LF extension of the K-horn and as a consequence are rather aggressive (Tom Brennan on AA,AK, and the lansingheritage forums likens their aggressiveness to a Skilsaw!).
The Klipschorn has been in (AFAIK) continuous production since the late 1940s.

Damn glad I don't live near any of these.
There are at least four pair I'd love to have. Not the least of which are those old Wharfdales. There is never anything interesting on my local CL.

Damn glad I don't live near any of these. On the opposite, I feel it is very infortunate I don't live in this area as I would definitely paid a trip and picked-up a pair or so......... However, this amount of speakers along with the pricing on a single add is rather overwhelming/scary
Cheers!

Deal of a lifetime just slipped away... klipschorns listed for $400 here in Denver... picture looked spectacular but someone beat me to them (even though I emailed minutes after they hit craigs). :(
