Has anyone tried (and had any luck) in removing a tweeter from one housing and transplanting it to another?

Most specifically a SL6001 or so into the housing of a SL6506.

Nobody? Am I posting this in the wrong spot, or has no one tried this?
I couldn't find much but the two tweeters appear to be the same except for the casing...

No... but i have some spare tweets from my AR Frankenspeakers that you can have...

Do you have info on them? I mean, a good driver and x-over pairing?

Hrmmm... no info yet. I need to find my flathead screwdriver to open them up.

I'll take... a 6 pack of beer and visit. You can have them. :) I doubt i'll have the time anytime soon to do what i want with them.
