Is anyone seeing an obvious difference or improvement in the performance of these discs as "superbits"?

I have not checked them out yet but my Friend has Desperado and 5th Element and he said VIsually it's much crisper than regular DVDs and the Sound is Superb.

Once i get it and check it out I will let ya know...

For the half-bit rate dts track alone they are worth it. Video is better, but not by leaps and bounds.

Best Buy just had them all on sale last week for $17.99 ea.
