Was a teenager in the mid 70's and never even considered these great albums until the last few years:

1) Transformer - Lou Reed
2) Roxy Music - Country Life
3) Ziggy Stardust - David Bowie

Totally missed these ones first time around.

You?

Use to play this all the time, back when I was like 7 or 8. Than it went away for 13 years than literally yesterday when I was driving home that song hit me.

Dana Lewis

Than I should of been listening to these as I was growing up but Eagles is now one of my top bands.

Hell... I never listened to The Beetles when I was a kid.

I missed a ton of great stuff. I'm still discovering Jazz for chrissake!

Oh yeah - the Beatles - good one. :) I was well into my 20's before listening to them.

I have not gotten to the Beatles yet. Honestly not sure if I will.

The Allman Brothers before Duane died. I totally ignored them and what a great guitar player Duane was. Greg is pretty slick on the keyboards too. Anyway, about 2years ago I heard a surround version of Eat A Peach and was totally wowed by how good those guys were. Now I have everything done by Greg and Duane on vinyl I can find. Serious good stuff.

Its never too late.

I didn't pay any attention to them until I rented the documentary Imagine. It was August 5, 1995. I had just turned 22 yrs. old. It blew me away. I picked up 7 CDs of theirs in the next 3 weeks (everything from Rubber Soul (1965) on), and then the Anthology sets which happened to come out later that year and the following year. And then the Anthology documentary. And then the Let it Be...Naked. And then Love.

But I've neglected the early stuff up until 5 hours ago, when the Mono box set arrived. Its 14 years later and I'm now 36. And these are blowing me away.

Its never too late to get into the Beatles.

Abbalol... I loved ABBA. I was the one that missed AC/DC and Aerosmith.
