I know:

IMHO
I don't know:
ROFL
AFAIK
And I'm sure there are more. Anybody wanna give a full list of 'em?

in case you're too stupid to get what I just said
Make a registry of all abrevs, when you use a new one add it to the registry so other people can use it later and we all know what it means.

Hmm, well, 1, 2, 3, uhh, 6, uhh... ooh, snap!
Try again, man this is hard.
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 = 9 X (2.5 X 2)
Guess not.

TOTL???????
Tour - I always "acronymize" long movies titles. If they are popular, usually they are instantly recognizable.
LOTR-FOTR EE is much quicker than The Lord Of The Rings - Fellowship Of The Ring, Extended Edition.

I also don't get when you would use "bump". Is it kind of like "owned" or "burn!"?

NO, bump is usually used when a thread has become dormant without any responses in a while. Most people just reply with "BUMP" to bump the thread back into the active/new posts queue so that others will read it again.
